Fore Green Golf was founded by Bob Wikes in 2010.  Bob was a marketing and merchandising executive in the consumer electronics business for over 25 years.  According to Bob, “I founded Fore Green Golf for one reason.  I wanted to form a company that combined a number of my passions: 1)  To help organizations raise more money for charities, 2)  To support corporations that have the willingness but not the resources to run a tournament, and 3) To make sure we are being environmentally responsible while providing this service.  And, of course, even though I am a weekend hacker…I am also an avid golfer”.

During Bob’s tenure as SVP of marketing for a Scottsdale-based consumer electronics company, he ran a number of very successful charity tournaments.  “In the 3 years I was responsible for the weekend event (Tournament, Silent Auction, and Gala Ball); my company raised over $500,000 for local Phoenix charities.  As much as I loved the events, I found that running them took a tremendous amount of time, energy, and focus. This effort took me and my team away from our primary business responsibilities.  I have created Fore Green Golf so that you can stay focused on running your business, department, or company while I stay abreast of the latest tournament games and sponsorships, and coordinate the logistics and planning.”  You will find that Bob’s experience working with all levels of an organization will create a collaborative environment with you and your staff.  In addition, his upbeat personality and sense of humor creates productive and comfortable planning meetings.  The net result of working with Fore Green Golf is that you will have a better organized  tournament, raise more money for your cause, and know you are taking a part in improving our planet!
