I want to improve our environment. I pledge that I will:

• Make sure my computer, lights, and electronics are off when not in use
• Recycle paper, plastics, cans, and all reusable materials
• Make double sided copies when I can
• Walk, bike, or carpool whenever I can
• Use re-usable grocery bags whenever possible
• Dispose of small appliances responsibly by using goodwill “white” containers
• Use public transportation when available

• Replace as many light bulbs as possible with CFLsTurn down my thermostat by 3 degrees in summer
• Inflate my car tires to improve gas mileage
• Turn down my hot water heater to 130 degrees
• Drink more water from reusable glassware
• Minimize my water use for my lawn, and during morning preparation
• Buy locally produced products
• Tell a friend, family member, and co worker to review the pledge and do their part!
